WMJ's book - how to get a copy? Message #1 Posted by Giancarlo (Italy) on 25 Apr 2006, 8:34 a.m. Hi all. I was looking for a copy of Wlodek Mier-Jedrzejowicz's book "A Guide to HP Handheld Calculators and Computers". Following what suggested here I contacted mrcalc@pacbell.net, but they just replied me that "the book is no longer available for sale. We've been out of print for about a year now - and I don't know when (or if) we will get more printed". I also tried Amazon.com, but the book isn't available even from them. So now I've got no more resources. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Cheers. Giancarlo

I don't know his email address, but maybe someone else on this forum can provide it to you -- otherwise, HPCC can probably put you in touch with him. And, of course, you can always try eBay (but they don't seem to have it on offer at the moment). - Thomas

Tran I am not sure that I should print his e-mail address here, but I am a member of HPCC (a UK-based HP Calculator Club), and I see that a summary of his historical data can be found at: http://www.hpcc.org/calculators/wmjarts.htm This is a lot less elaborate than the book and has no nice pictures. I did buy a copy about a year ago from a local calculator dealer, but he is no longer advertising the book. Pierre

If you keep on the look-out, you should be able to by one. Also, his book is in pdf form on the DVD of Dave afaik. Cheers Peter

Make sure you put "calculators" "hpcc" or "i want to buy your book" in the title so that it stands out from the spam.
