Here is a nice collection that did not last long. In case you did not get a chance to see it:

The reserve wasn't met, so maybe he is thinking of relisting?

The auction was closed early, so I think the seller got another offer outside eBay.

You are right! I needed the money and took an offer off-line. Like I told several others that inquired, Ebay can be risky with "dead-beat" bidders and "no-pays" and the aggrivation of having to relist and wasting time. I never end auctions early, but needed the money to offset the cost of a last-minute emergency trip my wife had to take to her home country. The new owner is also a collector and will give them a great home. I only sold 2/3 of my collection but did sell most of highly desirable models. Some of these were new old stock, too, but all were in excellent condition or better. It was a tough decision to sell, but I needed the money and my family needs to come first (and I'm not totally without as I retain at least 10 models). Besides, I can't take them with me when I die!
