Re: Update on the HP 97 sold for $3250 Message #18 Posted by Maximilian Hohmann on 28 Jan 2007, 4:26 p.m., in response to message #9 by Massimo Gnerucci (Italy)
Hello!
Quote: Really? Do you really think it is rare?
I would guess that for every 100 hp-97s with english documentations, there is one with italian, french, german, spanish,... handbooks, so every non-english hp calculator is a much more rare and precious item . We are lucky to live in the non-english speaking part of the world, this automatically adds a lot to the value of our collections :-)
BTW: A few weeks ago, I bought an hp-80 with spanish manual and backplate from a gentleman in the Netherlands, this combination alone adds anonther 100 Euros to the value of the calculator.
Quote: P.S. Do you have the errata and addendum card? :)
Honestly, I don't know, because I keep this calculator (together with some other larger ones) at my parents home in Italy. So I will have to wait for the next visit there (probably easter), before I can check.
Saluti, Max
