Followup on the IR Module Issue
Message #1 Posted by Les Wright on 24 Jan 2007, 6:30 p.m.

Just to let you all know that I replaced the malfunctioning module with another, still sealed in ESD packaging which I opened with great foreboding. Turns out that the new one TESTP's as OK in both my CV and CX, and the printing functions of interest all seem to perform fine.

Conclusion? As suspected, it was the original module, and not my calculators, and not overclocking.

Thanks everyone for you support on this issue, and especially thank you to the seller who refunded my full payment no questions asked.

Les

Hi folks, the original taker for the buggy module has shifted gears in his collecting and doesn't want the thing now. I don't want it and neither does the original seller. I have put up a classified listing seeking only the cost of postage plus a little extra. The new manual at least may be of interest. Check out the ad! Les
