Care of Shrink-Wrapped Manuals
Message #1 Posted by Les Wright on 17 Jan 2007, 7:30 p.m.

I recently acquired an HP41 IR Printer Module, and to my great surprise the manual is new, still in shrink-wrap.

I don't want to open it (as a proud supporter of the MoHPC DVD I don't need to), and would like to pass it on to a hard-core collector who would appreciate it more than me.

However, the shrink wrap seems to be splitting and manipulating the thing even slightly threatens to make the split of the delicate material even worse.

Any pointers out there on how I can safely preserve this until I can pass it on to the next lucky owner?

Les

P.S. See my ad re: this in the Classifieds if you are interested.
