HP-27S Disassembly
Message #1 Posted by Bob Belanger on 3 Jan 2007, 7:21 a.m.

I have a 27S with a loose connection - works fine if pressure is applied to base of display otherwise some keys don't work.

Would appreciate guidance on how to disassemble case and repair.

Bob --

The HP-27S is a Pioneer-series unit. Paul Brogger posted several articles that included instructions for opening a comparable HP-42S:

Thank you very much, Karl.

Excellent information, I'll give it a try when I'm feeling lucky!
