HP 50g in Cleveland Area?
Message #1 Posted by Jeff Smith on 8 Dec 2006, 4:51 p.m.

Does anyone know where in the Cleveland, Ohio area that an HP 50g can be obtained? I have checked Office Max, Staples, Walmart, Target, and the CWRU bookstore.

While I have no suggestions for Cleveland stores, you could try online stores:

http://www.hpcalc.org sells them for under $150.

(I've never purchased from them, nor am I affliated with them. However, many forum users here have purchased from Eric.)

In recent years, the only places where I have seen new HP scientific or graphing calculators available for sale are (1) university bookstores, and (2) Fry's Electronics. At one time you could find them at stores that sold surveyor's supplies, but I don't know if that's still the case.

You could try special (catalog) order at an office supply place, like Staples. Typically such stores keep only HP financial calculators, like the 12C, in stock, but they can order other HPs as well.

I expect that the vast majority of HP scientific and graphing calcs are now bought online.
