"C" in display--why?
Message #1 Posted by layne howard on 17 Oct 2006, 12:09 p.m.

I've had my 15C since the beginning, and have used it constantly. I used to be totally familiar with it, but lately I must have done something: there is now the letter "C" displayed in the lower right part of the display. I can't figure how to turn it off...Any ideas? Thanks--Layne

You are in complex mode. I think clear flag 8

Hi, Layne;

Please, locate the [CF] (Clear Flag) printed in blue, in the slanted face of the [5] key. Now, use the following keystroke sequence:

[g][CF][8]
The small īcī annunciator must be off, now. Your 15C now works with real-only numbers.

Cheers.
