HP-19BII Register Arithmetic

I just noticed something interesting. The Hp-19BII has limited register/variables arithmetric support limited to STO only (no RCL). It's limited to the basic four functions - add/substract/multiply/divide and one additional fifth function - the POWER (^) function. A quick look at the HP-17BII manual shows the same.
What other models also include the STO^ function? And why would it be included only on these models? I don't think the clasic RPN calc incuded this (please feel free to correct me on this).
