HP museum DVD.

I just received my new DVD from the Museum; what a great job - Thanks to Dave and all "scanners".

I just finish "reading" old EDUCALC catalogs from various years. I was fascinated by the presence of the HP-41 complete SYSTEMS that were available in 1985. Gradually "competition" from other models take place and finally the 41CX discontinuation was annonce on volume 54, 1991 page 56. You could buy a CX for 184$: they need place for the new 48S...

I was too young at the time to have interest in HP 41 systems, but hey, just give me that catalog today and someone that really wait at the other end and i can buy everything. And have you look at the prices for the 15C, 41CX, HP-IL stuff: A lot cheeper brand new than "mint" on eBay today!

After 1991, catalogs were not as fun as before... New technology that, for a lot, has been forgotten...

I think i miss a great era playing with my casio...

Michel
