New Datafile articles
Message #1 Posted by Valentin Albillo on 21 Dec 2005, 8:50 a.m.

Hi, all:

This is to briefly let you know that the just recently published V24N6 Xmas issue of Datafile features two of my articles, namely:

Long Live the HP-16C

Five-page article commemorating this wonderful, one-of-a-kind HP model belonging to the much celebrated Voyager series. Includes a new program written specifically for the article, which puts to good use some of its distinctive advanced capabilities.
25 Years of Othello
Eight-page article which commemorates the 25th anniversary of my original Othello program written for the HP-41C back then. As such, it includes a fond, highly-personal remembrance of the circumstances involving its creation and publication, which constitutes a small chronicle of just how golden and how exciting those days were. The article also includes a slightly-revamped version of my original 41C Othello specifically written for the HP-71B.

That's all for now, hope you enjoy them both.

I'll be out for vacation and don't know if I'll be able to read and post to the forum but be as it may, I truly wish you all a Merry Xmas (or Hanukkah, etc ... :-) and very Happy New Year 2006, it's been a pleasure sharing this MoHP forum with all of you.

Best regards from Valentin Albillo
