Stuck HP 28 Message #1 Posted by dl on 15 Dec 2005, 6:21 a.m. Hi, My HP 28S calculator is stuck in an ON state (probably doing an endless loop) for many hours. How can I stop it? Thanks.

This should help. If it doesn't, remove the batteries for a few minutes. HTH Raymond

After all, I could achieve the same result by simply opening the batteries cover. Meanwhile, I got to see the manual, and this operation you recommended (ON + ^) should really do only a "System Halt", not a "Memory Reset" (i.e. stop the running program, without resetting the memory).
