Power supply for 9114B Disk Drive
Message #1 Posted by inaki on 19 Nov 2005, 3:12 p.m.

Which is the right power supply for the 9114B Disk Drive ? Is it the same that for other HP peripherals, that is, the 8V one?

Yes, it's the same as for lots of HP products in the late 70s and through the 1980s. In the US, it's the 82059[ABCD] The various revs have all worked well in many HP machines for me:

  • HP-97
  • HP-41C rechargable battery pack
  • HP-41C printer (both dedicated and HP-IL)
  • HP9114A/B FDD
  • HP-IL Thinkjet printer
  • HP-110 portable plus
  • HP-IL/Serial interface
  • HP-IL/HP-IB interface
  • HP-75C/D
  • HP-71B

I'm sure there are others that I've forgotten about or never encountered.
