SD card useage - HP49G+
Message #1 Posted by RON on 14 Nov 2005, 3:51 p.m.

Any word on the possible enhancement ... in a future flash ROM upgrade?"

See page 26-7 under "Storing objects in the SD Card." Has to do with building a subdirectory into port 3, which is basically limited to bulk storage.

Thanks.

The memory structure of the original HP49 is actually better than that of the 49+, it simply works right out of the box, no card needed. The keys work, too!

The 49G+ also works directly out of the box. Its memory structure if you don't bother with the SD card is exactly the same as the 49.
