Locked display HP48GX Message #1 Posted by Roger on 19 Oct 2005, 12:11 p.m. During use, my HP48Gx, display froze, with screen solid black. I've tried various resets and checks, including system halt and Electrostatic Discharge. Keyboard is disabled, replacement of batt. does not help. I fear the worst! Any ideas? Cheers! Roger.

Removing the upper right (face down) rubber foot and and pressing the reset button through the hole with a paper clip fixed his calculator.
