Can't remember how to get trig functions to work HP15 Message #1 Posted by Pete Dzwonkas on 6 Oct 2005, 10:23 a.m. HP15 and when I try to calculate the Tangent of say 30 degress, I get -6.405 instead of .577. What do I reset? The RADS is not in the display when I do this.

A little c will show on the lower right of the screen if this is the case. In complex mode, the calculator assumes radian mode even though RAD does not show on the screen. To clear the complex mode, hit g[CF]8. Your trig functions should then work as you expect them to. Cheers, Tom
