HP collectables & eBay

Yesterday I put one of Redshift Software’s few remaining HP-41 AECROM modules on eBay (see item 5805816021) to help raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. 100% of the final sale price realized in this 3-day auction will be automatically donated to the American Red Cross. Whatever the sale price is, it will be a just a “drop in the bucket,” but every little bit helps.
My state, the state of Texas, is stepping up to the plate to help in every way. It occurred to me that the members of our great HP community could be inspired to do likewise.
eBay has made it relatively easy to automatically donate various percentages of your final sale price to virtually any charity you elect. I’d like to encourage everyone to give some thought to selling some of their duplicate HP collectables in this manner.
