33s backspace key
Message #1 Posted by Hal on 5 Sept 2005, 11:29 a.m.

The backspace key function doesn't seem to be working on my new 33s. According to the manual, you should be able to use backspace during any data entry mode to delete the character to the left of the cursor. When I try to do this, the backspace key doesn't appear to be active (ie, I get the little exclamation point in a triangle annunciator). I'm using the left end of the cursor control bar as the back space key. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks, Hal

The backspace/erase key is the left-pointing arrow -- located between the TAN and division keys.

Thanks sjthomas, They say the nut on the keyboard is the cause of many problems, and that's certainly true in this case. Best regards, Hal
