42s: programming long strings
Message #1 Posted by Rob on 3 Sept 2005, 8:29 p.m.

I am looking forward to ordering the DVD set from the hpmuseum.org if I can't find my manuals at home.

I replaced my batteries on my 42s today, and started entering the mine hunt game at http://www.hp42s.com/minehunt.html

How do I enter the first character on line 99 ?

thanks, rob

Found it.

http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/hpmuseum/archv007.cgi?read=15589

talks about the append character.

" (Shift) ALPHA ENTER, then the text. "

I had better go find those manuals...
