If you like Nonpareil
Message #1 Posted by Eric Smith on 29 June 2005, 9:51 p.m.

Two users have already made donations to support further Nonpareil development, and this is much appreciated. I've just added some PayPal donation buttons to the web page to make this more convenient. Credit card donations can be accepted even if you don't have a PayPal account and don't want to sign up for one.

Note that Nonpareil is Free Software, so donations are strictly optional. I originally had planned to sell the Windows version of Nonpariel, but I've decided not to do that. Still, donations help pay for web hosting, and some of the expenses involved in Nonpareil development.

There is a tradition in the amateur (ham) radio community of exchanging QSL cards (postcards) to confirm a radio contact. I'm not a ham (yet), but I think this is a great concept, and it would be cool to apply it to free software development. If you like Nonpareil, I'd appreciate receiving a picture postcard of your area, and in exchange I'd be happy to send you one of the San Francisco Bay area, the Computer History Museum, or something else interesting. The address is on the Nonpareil web page.

Thanks,
Eric

Eric,

Your donation buttons are in reverse. The one that says $10 takes you to PayPal for a $30 donation. The one that says $30 takes you to PayPal for a $10 donation.
