reasonable price of HP14B 50yrs limited edition
Message #1 Posted by Mike (Stgt) on 6 June 2005, 6:48 a.m.

I got in contact with a nice lady with a HP14B "50 years limited edition" she uses every day at work in a travel agency. I met her when I bought a railway ticktet -- and of cause I missed the train. Now she wants to sell or trade with an other Voyager ("it's so easy to use"), but she has no idea about a reasonable price and I do not either. I have only one HP14B in my collection so I'd like to offer some money. Could someone pls tell me (us) about the value of a very used "50 years HP41B", please.

I don't want to cheat her, but on the ohter hand I do not want to pay too much. It's not easy, "never let a woman in clothes cloud your sense for profit" - but she looks _much_ better than the calculator...

Ciao.....Mike

addendum: she just called me and told me that she wrote a mail to MoHP. Now, Dave, it's your turn...

TIA.....M.

Hi Mike,

a 'very used' 14B 50th Anniversary isn't worth much (10-20 Euros),
besides it's a 'Pioneer', not a 'Voyager';-)

I could offer you a never used 14B 50th Anniversary,
just drop me a mail.

Regards

Raymond

Hi Raymond! Tnx 4 the correction - currently I am too much in the emulation of the Voyagers. And about that 50yrs-Pioneer... it's not only the calculator, it's the story behind every calc in my collection (click on the scanns to view them in a readable size). I asume, she will not give away a calculator that attended her school days. More off-list.

Ciao.....Mike

My assumption was wrong. I'll try to find an other eMail address on my 200LX.
