hp620lx motherboard repair Message #1 Posted by Rene Gonzalez on 25 May 2005, 10:32 a.m. I was given an hp620lx by a friend, the problem is that it wouldn't run even when the power adapter was being used that's why he gave it to me. I opened the case and looked for anything out of the ordinary and sure enough there had been a short on the circuit board. The locating is two solder points on the back side of the USB port but not part of the USB circuits, it to what I think is a resistor now this thing is small so small that I can't make-out the bands. Is there anyone here that can tell me what that resistor is? Thanks, Rene
