Series 80 - Prog ROM Module clone update
Message #1 Posted by John on 3 Mar 2005, 4:17 p.m.

Hi, Sorry for the clumsy title, here is some more information on the clone version of the HP Series 80 (HP-85, HP-86, HP-87, HP-9915) Programmable ROM Module - 82929A.

Here is a picture of the lastest prototype from Bill K the maker:

This has the ability to store multiple ROM images (eg Assembler, Extended Mass Storage, EDISK, I/O, Mass Storage) as well as user programs.

More details once I get my hands on it, still yet to have a plan for general availability.

Regards, John
