lowercase subscript HP 49G

does anyone know how to enter the correct keystrokes for lowercase subscript for letters and numbers ??

Hello,

if by subscript you mean letter displayed slightly bellow the normal letters, you can not directly enter them in the HP49G+ as they are not such letter in the calculator character set and the calculator does not support subscript.

HOWEVER, all is not lost! because the calculator support multi font! so what you can do is extract the current system font (FONT-> command), use a program such as fontman (http://www.hpcalc.org/details.php?id=5452) to edit the font (change the name/id and move all the character down by 1 pixcel) to create a subscript font.

then, store the font in one of the ports, and when you want a subscript character, while editing, press on tool next, next, style, font and choose the font that you want!

Very nice idea, Cyrille, but it does sound like using Microsoft Word, or even WordStar!
