PI Screen Saver (off topic) Message #1 Posted by Mike H on 7 Jan 2005, 9:21 p.m. A 3D screensaver, which calculates the mathematical constant pi. This screensaver demonstrates a simple and elegant Monte Carlo method for estimating the value of pi. This method is known as Buffon's Needle, and dates back to 1777.
