HP PSC 1210 all-in-one - scanning

I understand I have scanning software that comes with this scanner. I have been using AdobePhotoDeluxe which has failed on me.
Just how do I use this HP scanning process which comes with the 1210?
Are there clear directins on the web somewhere>?
