HP49G+ connectivity kit: my own experience
Message #1 Posted by Vieira, Luiz C. (Brazil) on 8 Dec 2004, 10:04 a.m.

Hi, all HP49G+ users;

in brief (respecting the "legacy" basis of the MoHPC): I had to use the latest HP connectivity kit available here to succeed connecting and xchanging data from an HP49G+ and two PC, specs below:

MB                    PROCESSOR       MEM     OS

PC CHIPS M748LMRT CELERON 433MHz 128MB W98SE PC CHIPS M812 ATHLON 1.1GHz 256MB WXPpro

I could not connect the calculator with any of these computers by using the original connectivity SW that comes with the HP49G+ (CD). After replacing (unstalling the original pack and installing the one mentioned above) everything worked fine.

Hope this info helps others.

Cheers.

Luiz (Brazil)
