Funniest picture in an HP Calculator Digest

My vote: Volume 8, page 16-17. This is the two page spread for the HP67/97 calculators (amazing to me that HP continued to make those for SO long after the 41C was out, but that's a different story).

Look at the picture on that two page spread on page 17, bottom right corner.

It is a picture of an airplane cockpit. Shows a calculator on a briefcase in the pilot's seat ready to be used.

Which calculator is shown and why is it funny? :-)

Hi Gene,

Sure pilots need to calculate TVM during takeoff and landing... and nothing better than an HP-92 for the task (those days... ;-)) Just guessing...

Best

Diego.
