New Casio Financial Calculator
Message #1 Posted by Phil on 15 Sept 2004, 9:42 a.m.

Casio have just announced a new financial calculator to replace the FC100. Called the FC100V. Cant find any data on it yet but there is a picture at http://tinyurl.com/4lxl6

No "=" sign on the keypad!

The "EXE" is the "=", it is algebrical (note the parenthesis).

Best regards,

Nelson

It looks agressive...

Hi, folks;

I'm not sure about the HP12C fans, but the HP10BII seems to have lost the competition, if any. Based on what I see, even with a 'fake' display image (drawn, not an actual picture) I'd like to try it for a while... or have (buy) one.

My 2¢.

I tried babelfish, but it didn't do a very good job. I can actually make out quite a bit, but would like to know just what it says. :-)

http://tinyurl.com/4ak6c provides more information in English. There is a FC200V as well!

Talk about a difficult calculator to use !!! The FC-100V looks like it's buttons are way too small to use. And the comma and decimal points will be easily confused.

...either that or the FC-200V is way too big for a shirt pocket !

What were they thinking !?!?

...and, yes, I am kidding. I just thought the difference in photos was funny.

Prime time for the HP-19BII+ to show up? Hopefully it won't cost over $100.
