Possible source of cells for 41C battery pack
Message #1 Posted by John Robinson on 14 Sept 2004, 6:38 a.m.

Howdy folks, I happened to be repairing my son's radio control car the other day, it's one of those tiny things that charges the car battery from the controller. Inside the car is a small NiCd cell, a little smaller than the original N75 from the 41C rechargeable battery pack, but it should be easy to fit four of these car cells inside the original 41c batt pack case. The car cell seemed to be 70/75 mAh. I hope someone finds this info useful - Cheers

I've never had the privilege of owning a 41C series machine, but for many old HPs, you can get the rechargeable batteries, which substitute for the packs, at Radio Shack, too and they work admirably.
