Battery probelms with HP-19B Message #1 Posted by Ed Cruz on 5 Sept 2004, 3:33 p.m. I recently got a HP-19B from a thrift shop. Still works fine, except one of the N batteries that's buried inside the calculator won't come out. There seems to be a rubber thing holding it back, and I don't know how to get the battery out without destroying the rubber thing. Anyone have any ideas?

Put the end of the stick on the exposed end of the battery and let the epoxy cure. Carefully pull out the battery with the stick.
