12C Keyboard error
Message #1 Posted by Tom on 14 July 2004, 10:39 a.m.

Cannot clear or reset display. Shows a zero followed by a comma and then two more zeros. The letter C also appears constantly in lower right hand corner of display. Would like to get back to use for normal functions. How do I clear/reset? Many thanks!

Tom,

To remove the C (for compound interest) indicator, press STO and then EEX.

To change from the comma to decimal point, turn the calculator off, then press and hold the period key while turning the calculator on.

For a complete reset (which you may not want or need), turn the calculator off, then press and hold the minus key while turning the calculator on.

Hope all turns out to your satisfaction.

Tom
