SPICE series case disolving Message #1 Posted by Steve B. on 13 July 2004, 5:59 p.m. Has anyone seen the lining of a SPICE series case dissolve. The nylon lining inside my HP-33C case is turning to goo. regards, Steve

It is the adhesive backing to the lining. Just toss the case in the washing machine. Stubborn cases may require a couple of cycles. Then prop open the opening and let it air dry. It should come out looking as good as new.

After a cycle in the Maytag all the sticky black residue is gone. I thought the case was finished like my 67 driver roller. Thanks again. I love my 33C (My First HP)
