Hi;

Original HP printed material has an HP identifier: the HP part nº. The HP48G Series AUR Manual I have (in hands right now) reads HP Part Nº 00048-90136, Ed. 3. The HP48S Programmer's Reference Manual reads Mfg Nº 00048-90053, July 1990, Ed. 1, and a Reorder Nº 00048-90053 (curious!). I could not find an ISBN in neither of them.

Cheers.

I got the ISBN wrong, it is actually: 2-909737-11-X

It is not made by hp, it seems it was translated by hp but published by pole editions. I could not find a part number.

That's even more interesting!

Hello, Arnaud;

I have a few books (of the many thousands I don't have...) related to HP calculators that are not published by HP. But that's the first time I've heard about an HP-related manual that's not published (neither printed) by HP.

This is interesting!

Thanks.

Hi;

I know that the the HP48G User's Guide has been printed in many languages, Portuguese included (I have an original "Manual do Proprietário" still in its original shrink-wrapped package, that I was given by a friend a few weeks ago), but I don't remember reading anythign about the AUR manual in other languages but English. What I think that's strange is the fact that many important programming information and techniques are shown there, in almost 140 pages. And if the AUR is only in English, these pages are also only in English (what a clever conclusion!).

I'd like to know more about this. I would also like to know which HP48 manuals are available as e-docs and where to find them. I know hpcalc.org has some good material, I'd like to know if there's anywhere else with related stuff.

Cheers.

Luiz (Brazil)
