HP 32SII ailments
Message #1 Posted by Andrew on 6 May 2004, 3:27 p.m.

I have 3 HP32SII's in various states of ailments. The ailment on two of them is non-responsive keys. On one the "R/S", "3", and "6" work 50% of the time. On another, the "4", "5", and "6" don't work at all and some others work only sporadically. The third machine won't even turn on. All 3 have been used in an office setting, and the first two are in good cosmetic condition. Any suggestions for quick fixes and/or repair locations? Any help would be appreciated -- these are needed for the California engineering exams (to replace 48G's that have been banned). Thank you in advance, Andrew

Try pressing just below the screen in the middle of the calculator while operating the non responsive keys.
