How to open a Spice Serie?
Message #1 Posted by Matthias on 1 May 2004, 10:26 a.m.

I have some rare Spice calcs I would like to open. Badly I donīt have a dead machine. Can someone tell me exactly, how to open them without damaging them? The two screws I already opened.

Method one:

Be careful as when it pops, you can tear the flexible interconnect if you don't limit the downward travel of the case back.

Method two:

Hi, Mathias;

the images below ilustrate the interlock (no scale, no tech concerns; just sketches)

Hope they may help you understand how does it work.

Cheers.
