HP-33S arrived!! Message #1 Posted by Fubar Vikinghelmet on 24 Apr 2004, 12:45 p.m. Got 'em from HP by UPS yesterday! first impression: boy is it hard to get it out of the plastic... Second impression: cheaply bound user manual, but I printed out the pdf version and put it in a binder anyway. The calculator itself is lighter than I'd expect from HP. First play around, it's really powerful. The screen is bigger than it looked in the online photos. the keys have the solikd HP-feel when they're pressed down. There's an added bonus: a coupon for a free subscription to Business 2.0 (a $9.99 value). BUT, it says the following on the coupon: "if you do not wish to receive the magazine subscription, you can obtain a $9.99 refund by completing this card..." include the UPC label, offer good thorugh 25 Jue 2005. That means I get nearly a ten dollar rebate, thusly, the shipping ends up being free and I get a reduced price on the calculator! All right!

Maybe I'm just old and blind but it seems kind of hard to read. Not a big deal. I agree with you that overall it seems very good. - Robert

I just spent the weekend with my new HP-33S and we're very happy together. I particularly like the programming/solving capabilities.
