Nylon balls for HP65/67/97 card readers
Message #1 Posted by Tony Duell on 11 Apr 2004, 2:28 p.m.

Those of yuu who repair HP65/67/97 card readers will know of the 4 little plastic balls under the leaf contact. And how they seem to always get lost. I've found a source of replacements. They're not cheap, but they are available. 'The Precision Plastic Ball Company' (http://www.theppb.co.uk} can supply 1/8" nylon 66 balls at 32p each + postage + VAT (sales tax), the minimum order is 100 balls or so. As I said, not cheap, but they do work well. I have no connection with this company other than as a satisfied customer.
