HP200LX rs-232 interface with survey equipment

Hello,

Are there any surveyors here using the Sokkia line of total stations to interface with the HP200LX usign the rs-232 port? I'm looking for the send & receive codes or sample programming snippets in BASIC. I am creating a simple data collector using the HP200LX, and need to be able to receive the horizontal angle & distance from the total station in the form of a single string.
