I would buy from hpcalc.org since I have not heard of anyone getting an older unit from them recently. I have heard recently however, that people have been getting units with CN334 serial numbers from Samson Cables. You want at least a CN352 unit. In Samson's defense though, it is really not possible to tell from the package what they are selling you (serial number is not visible and the plastic blister-pack cannot be opened without destroying it) and they are at the mercy of HP and/or the distributor they deal with in sending them the latest units. Not sure how hpcalc.org manages...

Good luck! Mike Mander

thanks mike. this explains why samson's weren't able to verify the fact.

best wishes,
