41CV Halfnut display problem

Some of the display segments on my 41CV are sometimes very dim. If I type a bunch of 8's, the lower segment is dim. If I type in a bunch of Z's, the lower segment is fine. Viewing at a steep angle helps. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks.
