HELP! I need Head Cleaning Card for HP41 Reader Message #1 Posted by Colin Lambert on 14 Feb 2004, 5:44 a.m. Can anyone advise where I can buy a HP41 reader head cleaning card. I live in UK so will have to get by post from overseas I guess. Thanks in anticipation Edited: 15 Feb 2004, 5:00 a.m.

Push/pull it in and out several times. Repeat a few times. Wait for alcohol to dry (a few hours) or blow it out with canned "air" (otherwise the roller will slip). All this assumes that your drive roller has been rebuilt. If it is original, you will need to replace it first.

The reader gives erratic results when verifying cards and gives errors when reading data that appears to have been written to it OK. I have checked the cards and there is definately no sign of marking on them by the roller. That's why I want to try a head clean first before considering changing the roller.
