Re: Learning to Program in RPL Message #3 Posted by Vieira, Luiz C. (Brazil) on 6 Feb 2004, 11:13 p.m., in response to message #1 by Wayne Stephens
Hi, Wayne;
congrats for your acquisition. I have two HP48G+ and an HP48SX and I use them as often as I need to.
I'd follow Raymond's suggestions: many good, downloadable RPL tutorials exist. Also, as a brief introduction to RPL, you could read this. There are four commented listings at the end of the page that will give you a glympse of what an RPL program is.
And I found the HP48G Advanced Users Reference Manual as a good source of programming examples and explanations. User RPL only. Also, Willian C. Wickes' HP48 Insights (vol. II) goes deep inside RPL programming structure. As you know PASCAL, you'll not feel tease with structured language style. And RPL programming demands structured language reasoning.
Cheers. And success.
