HP 41 battery terminal block?
Message #1 Posted by Jim Creybohm on 30 Jan 2004, 5:03 p.m.

I don't know what else to call the battery block inside the calculator, but I am seeking information on how to make one or where to get one. Mine is corroded badly, and I have put off replacing it for too long. Its time to replace it.

I have used the brass tabs to maintain some integrity, but I am finding that this is a stop gap measure. The corrosion has caused the plastic coating to begin to fail as well.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to try? TIA.

Unless you want to pay a few thousand dollars to have a new flex circuit tooled up your only other alternative is to find another machine with a good one...
