The best way to repair it is to replace the contact with one from an old HP35/45/etc. The contacts themselves are held down by melted plastic posts (heat stakes). You have to cut off the top of the heat stake to remove the contact. I use a black rubberized superglue called IC2000 tire cement to hold the new one in place (along with some kapton tape).

Harder is to form your own contact out of beryllium or phosphor/bronze copper alloy strip.

Yes, I'm sure a reader of this forum should be able to help (I have used all of my contacts). Place a request in the classified section here. Also Ebay is a good place to find old machines. One without a charger should be around $30.

I think the printer contacts are a bit bigger than normal ones. You may be able to cut them down.

The HP75 uses the standard classic battery pack. Their contacts should work just fine.
