rom Message #1 Posted by sherman on 17 Dec 2003, 12:00 p.m. can anyone advise me how or where to get the rom reprogramed into my hp 48sx ?thanks sherman

Basically, as far as I know, the rom in the 48 series was "hard-coded" (for want of a better term) at the factory. It is not re-writeable. If the rom has become corrupted on your 48SX, it cannot simply be re-programmed.

If it's gone or defect, the ROM chip, a contact, the PCB or the CPU has to be defect. What symptoms does your 48SX exhibit? Cheers, Victor
