repair hp48sx

when i put new batteries in my hp,i lost i screen display except for a tiny red x at the top.how or where can i get it back to a working condition ? thanks

How do you get a red x on a calculator with a green tinted LCD screen?

Did you try the master reset switch under the rubber foot?

Turn the bottom of the case of your HP 48 in plain sight and dig out the right upper rubber foot. Underneath (sometimes it's the left foot) there is a small hole with letter R for Reset righ beside it. Use a copper paper clip to press the switch at the bottom of that hole. [VPN]
