my 32s "creaks." Is this common? Message #1 Posted by Josh P on 8 Dec 2003, 7:22 p.m. I have a 32s that is in mint condition, except that it is kind of creaky, noticeable when I take it out of its vinyl case. It's also noticeable if you hold the calculator at each end and lightly twist. My 32sii feels much more rigid. Was there a problem with the body of the 32s that was later fixed when the 32sii came along?? Maybe this isn't a problem at all. The serial number is 3028Sxxxxxx.
