Buying HP48GX or HP49G+???
Message #1 Posted by Mark on 24 Nov 2003, 11:05 a.m.

I have found a place to buy 1 HP48GX, and I'm thinking if it's a better Idea than buying a 49G+. I have yet 3 hp48GX. They are so good machines... What about having one more? What do you think?

Since you have 3 48GX's (each with a typical lifespan of 10 years HARD USE), I would suggest a new 49G+ in a couple of months after all the bugs have been worked out.

Now if this were your 1st Hp, I might suggest the Hp48GX as I feel it is probably better made than the newer 49G+ (but I haven't yet got my grubby hands on a 49G+ yet either).

My $0.02 worth.
