HP-12cPlatinum "Closeout"?
Message #1 Posted by Paul Brogger on 17 Sept 2003, 10:22 a.m.

I received an "HPShopping" email recently, announcing "red tag savings" on "closeout" products.

Under the "Calculators" link are listed the 9s, 10bii (neither surprising) and the HP-12c Platinum. (??)

Are they clearing out units from the first production run (those with the high program memory "jump bug"???)

The link you posted seems to have expired- I see a special price on hp.com, but no mention yet of closeout pricing...

This link shows 10% off the 12C Platinum... hmmm.

It's on multitudes of HP products, not just the Hp-12C Plat. This is a somewhat regular occurance at Hp Shopping.Com and is no indication of anything more than a temporary sale on some items. Nothing more, nothing less, it's a regular action you may not be familar with.
